Vilhelmina River Lodge welcomes people who travel north for the fishing, the hunting, the forest, and the feeling of being far from everything. A place where the days are long, the rivers are loud, and the evenings end by the fire.

Vojmån and the Forests

The Vojmån river is one of northern Sweden’s hidden classics. Clear, cold, and full of life — pike, perch, grayling, trout, and the occasional surprise.

Behind the lodge, the forest stretches for miles — home to moose, bear, capercaillie, black grouse, and small game, with established hunting grounds within easy reach. Above it, sky. In winter, the northern lights. In summer, light that never quite leaves.

Far north, yet quick to reach. A 1.5-hour flight from Stockholm lands you at Vilhelmina Airport (VHM), and 30 minutes by road brings you to the lodge. The town of Vilhelmina is just 15 minutes away for anything you might need — and nothing you don’t.
